The study aims to evaluate the phytochemical screening and invitro antioxidant potential of ethanolic extract of Tinospora cordifolia leaves with the help of two-invitro antioxidant models viz total antioxidant activity (phosphomolybdic acid method),1,1-diphenyl -2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay. Ethanolic extract of Tinospora cordifolia leaves strongly scavenged DPPH radical scavenging activity and total antioxidant activity in dose-dependent manner. The results showed that Tinospora cordifolia leaves exhibited strong antioxidant potential with the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, polyphenols and steroids.
